Quarterly earnings & company fundamentals

Quarterly reports drive buy eligibility. Price declines by themselves cannot create a buy signal.

NO FILINGS
SOFINo quarterly results entered

Quarterly SEC filing lookup is optional and requires a separate SEC_CONTACT_EMAIL secret; manual report entry always works.

Enter or correct a quarterly report (USD millions)

Use the latest quarter and the comparable quarter from the prior year. Review the actual earnings release or 10-Q/10-K; do not enter estimates. Blank is treated as missing, never zero.

Filing numbers are stored on this iPhone only. The SEC feed can be incomplete for foreign firms and financial companies.

Import CSV columns: ticker, quarterEnd,revenue, revenuePY,netIncome, netIncomePY,ocf, capex, shares, sharesPY,sector. Financial values in millions. Missing or stale quarterly figures block automated buy allocations; ETFs are excluded from blended fundamental scores.

Customize your DCA strategy

Customize the technical entry-timing component and buy-zone thresholds. Fundamentals remain mandatory for company buy signals.

This chart does NOT backtest the new fundamental strategy. Historical point-in-time earnings and filings are not available in this prototype. Each Friday: both strategies receive the same new cash. Fixed DCA buys immediately; signal DCA may hold cash and buys up to 4× the weekly deposit when a score strengthens. Final value includes remaining cash. No taxes, fees, spread or dividends.

How quarterly-driven scoring works

Blended score: 70% quarterly fundamental quality, 30% technical entry timing (editable 50–90% financial weight). Fundamental inputs are quarterly revenue YoY, net margin, net income improvement, free cash flow margin when applicable, and share dilution. Bank/insurer scores exclude the non-comparable FCF metric. Financial ratios are simplistic research heuristics, not a professional accounting or valuation model.

Safety rules: Missing quarterly revenue, prior-year revenue or net income means no composite score and no buy. Quarterly end older than 200 days, revenue contraction exceeding 20% YoY, or more than 15% YoY dilution trigger a hold. Fewer than four populated quality metrics are provisional and capped at 1X. ETFs do not have corporate earnings; TQQQ is excluded from company-composite allocations.

Sources: Twelve Data supplies daily closing prices via the existing encrypted TWELVE_DATA_API_KEY. Optional SEC EDGAR Company Facts data is public but the SEC requests a declared User-Agent: in Cloudflare Pages Settings → Variables and secrets, add SEC_CONTACT_EMAIL as a Secret with your own contact email, then make a new Production deployment. Official XBRL data can have missing company-specific tags; check the source filing. If unavailable, enter quarterly financials from the company's filings and earnings releases or upload CSV.

Historical backtest: The comparison is only the previous price-based model, not this quarterly-informed score. Proper fundamentals backtesting requires a point-in-time archive of financial data with publication dates to prevent look-ahead bias.

Saved settings: Stock watchlist, technical strategy, quarterly manual entries and price caches live in local iPhone Safari storage. You may export settings to JSON for a backup. No brokerage trades occur.
